Joseph Ward graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) in 2023 with a First-Class Honours Degree with ‘Clinical Distinction’ as well as winning the RCSI’s ‘Communication Award’.
As a skilled Chartered Physiotherapist, he is registered with CORU, he has worked across several fields of physiotherapy, including: musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, cardio-respiratory and older adult rehabilitation all while working in a large Dublin hospital.
Joseph recently trained with the Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy Institute in Matwork Pilates, and delivers an effective Clinical Pilates Programme for his patients.
With his strong research background, Joseph is passionate about evidence-based approaches to exercise and the application of Pilates therapeutically. A former rugby player, he now supports the Emerald Warriors Rugby Football Club as a volunteer during their international tours. An avid runner, he recently completed the Dublin City Marathon.
